I'm pretty pumped about the show. You guys talked me into going and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I'm going with a friend of mine who saw them in San Francisco a few years back and said they were amazing. I can't wait. I'm playing their recent setlist to get more familiar with the material. Since they don't mix things up much, I should recognize 90% of the songs or more.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I am so glad you are going! (A suggestion - bring earplugs just in case - you may or may not need them, but NIN can be pretty decibel-heavy) Come back on afterward and tell us how it was.
    R.i.p. Rigoberto Alpizar.
    R.i.p. My Dad - May 28, 2007
    R.i.p. Black Tail (cat) - Sept. 20, 2008

The show last night was pretty amazing. I can't even begin to describe the light show. It was unbelievable. Thanks to everyone who convinced me to go a couple months ago. Easily in the top 5 shows I've ever seen. The opening band, Health, were not my taste at all. A bunch of noise. It seemed that everybody we ran into outside the arena while they were playing had the same feeling. The crowd last night was pretty thin. It seemed like the coliseum was maybe half full and that's with almost the entire upper deck covered with curtains. I hope that doesn't deter NIN from coming back to NC. There were a few technical problems causing a couple songs to be aborted and Trent commented that the screens for Echoplex weren't working but I have to say I left wanting more. I will definitely see them again if they come back this way.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

Here's a copy of the setlist I found on the NIN boards:

    999,999
    1,000,000
    Letting You
    Discipline
    March of the Pigs
    Head Down
    The Frail
    The Wretched
    Closer
    Gave Up
    The Warning
    The Great Destroyer
    Ghosts 17
    Ghosts 10
    Ghosts 19
    Ghosts Piggy
    The Greater Good
    Pinion/Wish
    Terrible Lie
    Survivalism
    [The Big Comedown]
    Ghosts 31
    Only
    The Hand That Feeds
    Head Like a Hole
    Echoplex (screen malfunction)
    [Reptile]
    God Given
    Hurt
    In This Twilight

"Reptile" was aborted after a few seconds of the intro and "The Big Comedown" was totally killed.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I'm glad they're doing the make-up show. You will be amazed at the light show on this tour. My friend said this one was so much better than the one he had seen before.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.
