I am getting a copy of this album tomorrow and have heard excellent things. Anybody have any thoughts on it. What should I expect? I've heard that it's the holy grail of Neil Young material.
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I listened to it tonight. It's live, and very very cool. Classic shit to say the least.

I thought there was going to be a DVD out soon too,

I think the holy grail of neil material is On the Beach.

Time Fades Away is not bad... i mean it is neil but it is one of his weaker works of the 70's in my opinion... that being said it is being held up to albums like on the beach, tonights the night, rust never sleeps, harvest, zuma, after the gold rush etc etc

If you are a neil fan it is a nice addition to your collection and I think you will be happy.

Yeh " Time Fades Away " is quite the gem.
Who cares if the world is going down the toilet? Eddie Vedder got his mojo back!

I guess it gets mixed reviews. Some say it's the holy grail and others say it's well below average even one of the worst. Guess I'll just have to listen myself and see what I think. I hope it's good.

its the "holy grail" because it is yet to be reissued in cd format.... and is supposedly one of the greatest live records of all time

Just finished listening to it. Very good live performance. Good stuff. Not sure if it's his best work, but it's definitely worth listening to.

It's part acoustic and part electric. All previously unreleased material.
