What is everyone's take on the newest Neil Diamond album. It was a collaboration with Rick Rubin who seems to have the Midas touch. I feel that the album is very strong yet very simple. I like the broken down feeling and honesty of the record. Neil's voice is still in good shape. I've never been a big fan of Neil's work. Everyone knows his songs but I've never really tried to get into him. My parents are big fans and I know all the classics. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this one lived up to they hype. I enjoyed it. My favorite tracks are Hell Yeah and Evermore. What are your thoughts?
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I have it and I think it is an excellent album. My favorites are Save Me A Saturday Night and Delirious Love.
  • I bought it for my mom. We both enjoy it. I think I might like it a little more than she does. Is that wrong?

I knew somebody on here had to have it. I've given it a few spins and I really am enjoying it. Neil is a very good songwriter.

I don't want to be hostile. I don't want to be dismal. But I don't want to rot in an apathetic existance either.
