Days of the New In Concert?

They're playing in Charlotte (Amos' Southend) next Thursday January 17th. I'm thinking about making the trip down to see them. Anybody here seen them live? How are they? I don't know that I've heard any of their stuff other than the yellow album. Any suggestions? It's only $15 but I don't want to drive 2 hours round trip to see them if they're no good. Any info would be great. Thanks in advance.

    they are still together?

    they were pretty awesome about 10 years ago. Lost track of them. I thought travis meeks was doing some solo stuff and the rest of the band made some new band that had the same kinda sound.

    I'm surprised they're still together. I only have their first record, but it's a damn fine one. The show they put on should be worth the trip I think, especially if it's only 15 bones.

    I saw them rprobably 10 years ago opening for Jerry Cantrell and Metallica, they were actually really good live.
    Last I saw of him was on that tv show Intervention and he was pretty messed up on drugs...hopefully hes doing better.

    From what I've read, Travis is clean. I might download the other Days of the New albums and make my decision based on that.

    I saw them on 4-20-07 and they rocked- so, yes! Go see them- Travis was great. They are coming back to Florida in about two weeks and I'm planning on going to see him/them again.
