The new Tool packaging - AMAZING!!!!!

I just picked up the new Tool album (along with the Pearl Jam one obviously), and the whole packaging and art work is incredible. It has a pair of in-built 'stereoscopic' lenses to look at the booklet, basically when you look at the two pictures on each page through the lenses they become one, and 3D!! It's absolutely ingenious!!!!

    Its amazing. I've read the artwork more times than I've played the CD.

    that goddamn weird top heavy cd case made me knock over about 40 of them today when I was in my local record shop. Haven't got it yet unfortunately. broke...

    Exact same thing happened to me and about 5 "Pearl Jam"s stacked underneath fell too. But yes the packaging is fantastic and yes, I got both albums ;)

    I just picked it up and yes, the artwork is beautiful. Aley Grey is simply amazing! I think the packaging is a bit akward -- wish the glasses were detachable or packaged seperate. Quite original!

    Bottom line is the music is right on par for Tool and the standards I expect. And for all the torrent dl'ing non-believers...IT'S NOT A FAKE.

    Sure its not. How do you know what you have isnt a fake?

    Ridiculous!!! I hope somebody slaps every person that thought what leaked, was a fake. I mean, it went as long as it could without leaking. Pulled right off a hard copy. It was pretty obvious it wasnt a fake.

    Maybe they have another album ready, I hope they do, but I am sure it will be a few years and the process will start over again.

    I don't mind the glasses being in-built, but i wish it was easier to get the cd out of the case, it's next to impossible to remove it without getting your fingers on the playing side!

    I didn't think much of the first single in the UK, 'Vicarious'; didn't seem to go anywhere. Great musicians do not good songs make. Are the rest better?

    Because I just picked up a copy at my local record store...the guy isn't selling fakes. It's what every Best Buy store will be selling tomorrow.
