I seriously deprived myself of his music for too long. So many elements to the music, each album different from the last, but it still all blows me away. He's at the top level of the hierarchy with PJ. Anybody who hasn't listened to his music, especially younger folks like me who missed Pavement in their prime; do youself a favor and check it out. I'm sure there are people here who would agree with me.

Used to be a massive fan of Pavement. Sort of got bored with them from overplaying but still appreciate them.

Slanted & Enchanted was always my favourite album, followed by CR,CR

I'm going to give this a chance. Lately I've been going crazy trying to find new artists. Thanks for the suggestion.

Speaking on his solo career, I love his self-titled. Completely loose, fun album from start to finish, full of great, short pop songs. He's obviously gone a different route since with much less straightforward songs and a ton of musical exploration mid-song, but Face The Truth and Real Emotional Trash are both very quality albums. Haven't listened to Pig Lib in a long time.
