Hey all, awhile ago I got my hot little hands on an lp by a british band called the 22-20's. They ain't so hot stateside, but I do know that they've been getting popular back home in England. I know that they released their concert (duh, that's the one I have) but if any of you guys have any knowledge of them, it'd be greatly helpful. They have a cool, bluesy sound that kinda remids me of old skool aerosmith, and their live performance has some serious energy. That's all and it, so keep on jamming, kittens!

i think they got a bit of hype a couple of years ago... they played SXSW stateside and were "the next big thing" for a while but you know how it goes... the british press hails a band and then there's a backlash...
but they were pretty good... didn't know they broke up...
in fact, i played a couple of their songs on the radio and my mate who's more into heavier rock asked me who they were, so i think you're right on with your description... bluesy songs but LOTS of energy...
i'm sorry to hear they broke up...
Some days you wake up and sit on a park bench next to an eighty year old Russian architect, and some days you don't. I think this is my new life philosophy.

I saw them open for The Black Crowes in Toronto
They weren't bad, real old school, kinda Strokesy I thought, with a little Oasis.
They were dressed all wierd and were playin' Telecasters
