5/23/2011- An utter embarrassment... ticketing failures too many to list.
  • Dylan or the Who...
    Difficult question.
Probably I would end choosing The Who.
Hey I, ooooooohhh, I'm still ALIIIIIVEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • dylan obviously.

  • both! That is what I am doing. I know money is tight but I think both are going to be worth it. And I see them two days apart from each other.

Seen The Who b/4? If so, not much likely to be different... But Dylan playin and Acoustic Foo (might not happen again...)

What are the venue's? I know Dylan is playing funky places...

    Just some things to consider...
    1996: Randall's Island I, Hartford
    1998: MSG I, Hartford
    2000: Jones Beach I
2003: Albany, MSG II, Mansfield II & III, Homdel
    2004: Boston (VFC) I & II
    2006: Albany, Hartford, Boston I and E. Rutherford I
2008: MSG I & II, Hartford, Mansfield II (saw BostonLou in the FRONT ROW!!) EV-NYC II
    2010: Hartford
    2013 Worcester II, Hartford
    2016 Fenway I
    2018 Wrigley II, Fenway II

    The Who no question

Although, I hear The Raconteurs are playing with Dylan. Jack White is amazing!
  • Dylan.
The Who is a nostalgia act.
Using the word "methinks" in your message board posts doesn't make you look smart.
  • Dylan. He's done something of note, in the past thirty years. If you'd asked this question, last week, I might have suggested The Who.
  • I saw Bob Dylan in March 2004 in Toronto and was pissed off. I left the large venue (Ricoh colosseum) about 7 songs into the set. No Fucking Guitar!!
His band is great. Love Charlie Sexton and company. Bob was in a mood
and you could feel it, not a good one at that. So I never got to hear
Tangled up in Blue or Blowin in the wind or any of his great guitar playin songs.
Here's hoping you get the accoustic set. Masters of War would be unreal to hear live from him. I love Pearl Jam's cover of it.

  • I haven't seen either of them, but I'd say The Who. Almost everyone I know who's seen Dylan said he sucked, and most of the live footage I've seen of him sucks.

I've seen The Who twice over the past year and they were excellent both times. Pete's still shredding those guitars!

I cant stand the Foo Fighters and Bob Dylan is very hit or miss these days (from what I've heard)....mostly miss. So I'd definitely go and see The Who. But if you like the other two artists maybe that's the better deal?
