Been hearing it on Sirius/XM a lot. I hated it at first but its starting to grow on me.

    was at the concert when Where The Light Is was filmed...amazing show...going to see him play an acoustic show at the same venue next week...

    I have such a love/hate feeling toward John Mayer. His poppy acoustic stuff is garbage and his personality is grating at times but songs like Gravity make it all worthwhile I think.

    John Mayer makes awful pop music which has generic song writing and production. But everyone loves him? WHy??? I mean, his music, voice and persona are so so so so so bland! It's a pity he just doesn't retire from making boring hollywood and O.C. type pop and tour small clubs playing blues standards, cause he can sure play that gee-tar.

    i have listened to all his work, it is all that's played in my girlfriend's car these days, and i have a number if good friends who don't feel guilty imposing his songs of pathetic washed out love on me at every chance they get! his trio stuff isn't bad, but thats just primarily because there are some all right covers of decent tunes by hendrix, stevie ray etc.

    Yeah, he's fantastic on the guitar...but I can't stand his whispery vocal style, and he absolutely ruins that Tom Petty song!

    Ditto. I think he's one of the most talented guitarist's I've seen. I love when he plays with the blues trio. His versatility is amazing. I have "Where the Light Is" on bluray and seeing him go from acoustic solo to blues trio to full band is a great way of seeing all he has to offer.
