David Usher is amazing

The Canadian singer/songwriter David Usher has some great solo records. Morning Orbit, Little songs, Birds of Prey, which is his new record its awesome. Anyone on here like his music, I think is voice is just great. Also his Moist cds which is more of a rock sound are great. One of Canada's best.

    I am always afraid to admit it to people, but yes I like his music alot. I won the morning orbit cd from a radio station and liked it so I have got all his solo cd's since then and they don't disappoint. I think my fav is morning orbit or hallucinations.

    i'm more of a fan of his work with moist. saw him live once (free new years show), wasn't bad, but not really what i'm into. good singer though.

    I find that he doesn't try hard. His lyrics are mediocre and his songs are generic, lately. I used to really love Moist. It's a shame that he hasn't done anything with his talents since Moist.

    He doesnt try hard. Dunno how ya came to that conclusion. Also how can anyone be afraid to admit they like his music. Cuz he isnt some macho tough guy singer who cares. If ya like his music, ya like his music. His voice is just amazing.

    I don't look for macho singers... It is actually the last thing I care about. I didn't say that he didn't have a great voice. But, having a good voice isn't everything. Celine Dion has a good voice. It doesn't mean she has good music.

    I have a very deep collection of Moist and David Usher. Some of his solo material has been amazing, but there's a lot of it that I find too soft for my tastes. That's not to call it "bad," just not my thing. But for each soft song, he's got something I really love.

    PS - to the original poster and anyone searching for the newest album...it's "Strange Birds," not "Birds of Prey"

    i love David Usher too! especially with Moist... Creature is one of my favorite albums ever.

    the last solo album i got was Morning Orbit though... i should look into the new one... thanks for the reminder! :)
