I dropped off Dusseldorf and Kenyon Hall last friday, they told me about a week and a half. I called today no answer so I went there and there is like a foreclosure sign or something. THey have other locations in Northern VA and I called all those and no answer either.
What the hell am I going to do to get my posters back if I cant speak to anyone? Break in??

Surely the police can intervene somehow? It's your property at the end of the day...

Not that anyone cares, but I am happy to report that exactly a month later, today, I have my posters back. I picked them up from Fairfax County (Virginia) Consumer Affairs who got it from the old store owner. Finally, the government is good at something.

Did anyone else automatically think of Seinfeld where the Mom & Pop shop closed down and left town with Jerry's shoes?

EDIT: Oh, a happy ending! Now I can laugh about the situation and it's paralleling to TV more openly. Great to hear you got the Dusseldorf returned.

Not framed- but I went to the store across the street and told em the story and they are going to give me 75% off custom framing to prove to me they are a reputable business and I can go to them for future needs. I dropped off just Dusseldorf as a test. Ill find out Friday when I go to pick it up if they have closed or not. With my luck, Ill never see it again.

Internet-framing is great. You can get for $30 for what you get for $100 at a framing store. Shaky hands are ok.

    I always buy from http://www.framesbymail.com

Just get the plain metal frames with the acid-free backboard and plexiglass. Its really easy to put together.
