  • I dont get impressed that easy. Also Josh is not a great front man. Some of you saying there so great live, there are so many bands better live then QOTSA. Im not saying their horrible, but there not that special either. Yes I have heard all there albums. His songwriting isnt nothing special either. An average band, with an average singer, and average songs.
  • Josh's main talent is talking shit about other bands. Unlike other practioners of shit talking, like Liam Gallagher or Axl Rose, Josh doesn't have a Morning Glory or Appetite For Destruction in his catalog to back up his shit talking.

yeah i don't really like them either.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
    Butthead: Huh huh.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the FOO FIGHTERS?
  • Whats all the hype, with this band ? I mean Josh's voice is average at best. Not much range, not much emotion in his singing. Yes he is a decent guitar player. The only thing I like about QOTSAm is Mark Lanegan. Some people claim there one of the best bands going today, I say come on with a voice like that how can you be ?

    why start shit???

If you don't like them and want some vocal range watch American Idol.

I have never been able to get into them enough to consider them a favourite...they just don't fully connect, ya know? that said, I have the albums, and the live show DOES kick ass.... I've seen them every chance I've had....always a great time, great musicianship...and Josh is pretty fuckin funny to boot. Kyuss rocked too.
  • im not even gonna respond to these asinine QOTSA threads anymore, sick sick sick

He doesn't like metallica I heard. But other than that I can't see.
Oh, and josh not only did 3 of the best albums in the last 10 years but he also has kyuss. I don't think he has to be shy of liam or axl. And unlike these two, his comments are much more funny.

I've never been a big fan of QOTSA but I was blown away when I saw them last year. I had seen them 10 years ago and I hadn't been impressed. But they now are very talented, have great riffs, a good sound. Certainly one of the best actual rock bands
