    Another Ticket...

Seriously, I don't know...I sorta stopped liking him so much once I read his book, which does not mean I am criticizing his talent...

i think his work in groups, particularly derek and the dominos, is way better than any solo album, but if i had to pick one itd be slowhand.

Go and find Derek & the Dominos live at the Fillmore by far the best guitar player in the world from 1968 thru 1973 , remember the Caption on the wall in England " Clapton is God " now i know why ....

I'm not sure what is in his book, but I recently read about him going off on several racist tirades during a show in the mid to late 70's. The article I read was quite detailed with several eyewitness accounts. His comments during the show were really ugly, and I will definitely think twice about buying tix to one of his shows again.

Since i only know one of them, that would have to be the soundtrack to Rush, but am willing to bet that there are much better ones; I've just never really heard them. Haven't listened to that soundtrack in years, but way back when it was still relatively new I listened to it all the time. Would put it on before bed and groove to sleep. :P

Listen to Cream live at the Grande Ballroom 1967. It is a bootleg, but easy to locate/find.

Listen to the audio of the cream concert I posted. He is an absolute beast on that recording. This is when he played a Gibson sg through a twin Marshall stack.
