The videos for this an We're Not Gonna Take It were huge at the time. They look cheesy now, but the long speeches by Neidermeyer in the beginning of each video were hilarious. Stay Hungry was actually a pretty good album.

For me, Twisted Sister's appearance in Pee Wee's Big Adventure is the high point of their career. Awesome. For those who are interested, it starts around 3:45 into this clip.

It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.

Turn the power up, I've waited for so long so I could hear my favorite song so, Let's go!
Go! Go, go, go, go, go!

I saw a documentary about hair metal yesterday and there was a lengthy section about Tipper Gore and the PRMC. Dee Snider came across as genuinely intelligent, self-deprecating and humorous in spite of the band's daftness. I was surprisingly impressed since I hate hair metal. he obviously doesnt take himself too seriously but it was brilliant seeing him in front of a panel of senators and congressmen with his poodle hair arguing that it was Gore's dirty mind and not the song content that was dangerous.
