Tool was my first guess. They'll have an album coming out soon, they just dont want to announce tour dates yet.

Damn I SOOOOO wanna go to this too!!! That magical haven of a venue and this incredible line-up to boot. I'm holding out for PJ NEWS though as I've got those PJ priorities. But, if there aren't playing a show memorial weekend I'm serioiusly gonna try my bestest to attend this one.


Special guest? I honestly have no idea. Friends of mine think it's gonna be TOOL as well. Damn! That would be just...>WOW! :eek:I already hear that's a religious experience as is...and mixed with THIS place???? :eek:

hmmm...other too alt-rock for mainstream bands but, too mainstream for alt-rock bands i can think of that arent playing already are Tenacious D, Alice in chains, smashing pumpkins, and thats about it. Though none of those seem very plausible.

none of those bands fit the bill, possibly white stripes...but i doubt it.

NINE INCH NAILS, SURPRISE BAND TBA, AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF THE DEAD, HIM, WOLFMOTHER

these are the only bands playing that first day. White stripes aren't really simular nor any of the other bands ya listed.
