Experience Hendrix

Last night was a religoius experience to me. I went to the Beacon Theater in NYC to see what i thought was going to be a great show... Well I was wrong...IT WAS PHENOMENAL!
It was a Jimi Hendrix tribute concert with about 15 of the most amazing guitar players I have ever seen. From Buddy Guy, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, to Robert Randolph, Mick Taylor and Robbie Krieger. Mitch Mitchel from the orginal Jimi Hendrix Experience played drums part of the night.
WOW... how do you get that much talent on one stage? I guess you add the name that says it all... JIMI HENDRIX....
it was a killer show... it played at seveal locations in the east coastand ended in NY last night... if you get a chance to see this anytime soon... if they add dates... DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!!
it will be the closest you ever get to seeing Jimi... Close your eyes and you will beleive he is there.

John Frusciante woulda been good as well.
seemed a bit slow... but he was cool as hell... Seeing Kreiger on stage was a trip... when do you get to see former members of Jimi Hendrix, the Doors and The Stones all on the same stage?

Sounds like a great show. I know someone who went to the one at the Paramount in Seattle, back in '04. Mike was at that, but his performance was rather low key, apparently.
I have a lot of gripes with Janie Hendrix and the whole Experience Hendrix project in general, but this tour is a great thing. I wish it would come to the UK.
dreamer in my dream
we got the guns
i love you,but im..............callin out.........callin out
the guy in the hat was the guitar player for Kid Rock... the other guy with the beer bottle was Eric Gales. He was awesome... it was wild to see so many left handed guitar players on one stage.
and still jonesing for another show....
