Not sure if I wanna believe these details yet but here they are

Details of the new Oasis album, which is currently being mixed in LA, have leaked.

According to a studio spy, the follow-up to Don't Believe The Truth opens with a Liam Gallagher-penned acoustic track 'Boy With The Blues', tipped to be the first single.

As promised the boys have gone seriously orchestral on the rest of the record, particularly on 'To Love' sung by 40 year-old Noel and two more efforts from Liam, 35 'Guess I'm Out Of Time' and 'Evil Eye'.

But the set highlight promises to be Noel's epic 'I Wanna Live In A Dream With My Record Machine', complete with three guitar solos.

I have also read that it is due out in August
Alpine Valley 2000
Summerfest 2006

  • Love those blokes, can't wait for a new album...hopefully better than don't believe the truth. At least I've got the Black Crowes to look forward to for now.

Hey English folks, you guys do say blokes don't you? Or is that Austrailia?

All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Its pretty safe to say that they really cant make an album any worse than DBTT, definitely their worst album............yet still better than most bands best work.

It grew stale really fast and most of the songs are just average or bad, only a couple really good tracks.

I thought DBTT was very spotty. Some songs were really solid, but the turds on the album were just terrible. "Let There Be Love" seems like a song I could hear Lenny Kravitz doing. That isn't a good thing.

I presume the orchestral stuff is to cover up the fact that Liam can't sing for shit anymore.

Anyway, I'm kinda looking forward to it too. I go through Oasis phases every now and then. I think I'm due another soon :p

One of their worst songs by far, cant even believe they released it as a single.

Turn Up The Sun and Importance Of Being Idle are the only songs from that record that I can still tolerate

I thought those two and "Keep The Dream Alive" were quite good.

2 great albums, the rest are mediocre with admittedly a few great tunes dotted about.
