Why does everybody hate Oasis?

I understand they are cocky sons of a bitches but they have made and still make some amazing fuckin music. Before any of you go bashing them and calling them one hit wonders because they havent been big since Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova.........Download Gas Panic and if you dont think the song is as good as anything by Pearl Jam.....then go ahead and dont like the boys. Other songs I will recommend for all you non believers to download are Columbia, Bring It On Down, Stop Crying Your Heart Out, Force of Nature, Live Forever, Turn Up The Sun, Cast No Shadow and Importance Of Being Idle

everyone has their own individual taste..let them be...the majority here still like Oasis judging from the many Oasis threads here..

I know alot of haters, thats all, they still arent big at all in the states. And about Slide Away and all their b-sides.........I pretty much like every Oasis song I have heard with the exception of less than 10. I was just naming some songs that a Pearl Jam fan might like, hoping to at least back my argument that they are awesome and more people would like them if they would just listen more to them

and yeh i love everything they have done..cept probably the b-sides for Lyla
the people here hate Oasis for the wrong reasons...they already made up their mind that Oasis suck and that's it.

Who has seen them live before? Anybody seeing them this month? I saw them in Chicago during the summer and am seeing them again on the 22nd in Milwaukee with 8th row seats

i have...was great despite a very predictable setlist.

Im not a big fan of some of Liams stuff and some of the b-sides on Masterplan.......however, Oasis makes the best b-sides out of any band I have ever heard....An album of b-sides from them would be better than just about anything that has come out this decade. What are your favorite songs by them? Top 5 or more if you cant decide on 5

Ya, they really dont play the best live shows but they are one of my favorite bands and there has been no other good gigs all winter so I think its a good investment

yeh....i love their b-sides...they are only band which i have bought every single released..even the Japanese ones

oh no no...Be Here Now is definitely the BEST oasis work ever. What a superb record. My fav oasis as well. I just dont really like anything theyve put out since then. Heathen Chemistry was allright, but Im not into DBTT at all.

yeah I agree about the arrogant assholes. I couldnt get enough of DBTT for a couple of months, but I knew as soon as i popped in the DVD side it would ruin it for me, so I've never bothered

ill be at the indianapolis show the night before. im pretty stoked... ive had plans to see them the past 2 us tours and it fell through both times.

Oasis rocks. There always be some haters. But I have my own opinion and you guys have your own opinions. I will not change my opinion about what taste of music I like because of some haters.

The record is not as even as the first two, but there's plenty great material on it and "My Big Mouth" is still my all time favourite Oasis song.
