Drugs Don't Wrong is awesome too.

although, Bitter Sweat Symphony is a good song, it was just overplayed.

I bought Urban Hymnes. I love all the hits but I can't really get into the other songs.

Richard Ashcroft seems too good for that band.
I wonder what they're like live? Any good? :)

How big were they in the U.K. in the 90's? As big as Oasis or Blur, or not even close?

Richard Ashcroft was in the charts with 'Song For The Lovers' and so was 'Urban Hymns'.

They were prolly somewhere in between Blur and Oasis. (Oasis being the more mainstream).

Perhaps, Blur and The Verve have come off as the more respectable bands now though. (That's how I see it).
