    Only two I like:

Singles soundtrack has Breath, a Screaming Trees song, and some others.

Friday Night Lights has some cool stuff by Explosions in the Sky (the instrumental arena band.)

No mention of Dead Man Walking? Great version of Long Road on that soundtrack, and the rest of it is very good as well.

I'd add in any Danny Elfman soundtrack. The original Batman soundtrack was good, as is Nightmare Before Christmas.

Edited to add: Tarantino always makes a good soundtrack, as does Kevin Smith
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

    Singles is an obvious favourite.

I love the Lost In Translation soundtrack with all Kevin Shields stuff....its really laid back and nice.

The soundtrack to Sunshine was amazing as well, most of it was done by Underworld i think. Unfortunately i don't think it's getting a release

hooray! Explosions is slowly but surely becoming my favorite instrumental band. The fact that I can watch TV and simultaneously listen to Explosions is just gravy.
