What are you waiting for, check them out already. And no, I am not part of the band...........they just dont get enough credit for how great they are.

They sound like a mix between The Beatles, The Strokes, and Bob Dylan.

I agree 100%! I just got into The Redwalls and I totally dig them! I just got their new EP and it was signed by the band. You can check out their myspace site for more info. I can't wait for the new album. I really cannot believe these guys are not more popular, but that's fine with me. :)

I like it a lot. Edge of the Night is definitely a different sound but it's pretty cool.

I too saw this band open for oasis a little over a year ago and I definitely thought they played brilliantly. I had their De Nova album before that though and loved it then and still love it now. Great band, can't wait for their new one

Just some news for the fans

The Redwalls Ready Mad Dragon Debut

    July 25, 2007

The Chicago-based quartet sign with new label and prep self-titled third LP for October release.

    The Redwalls

Though recently dropped by Capitol amidst recording efforts, reportedly due to the label's impending merger with Virgin, the '60s-tinged rock'n'roll sonics of Windy City outfit the Redwalls will return to the musical landscape Oct. 23rd with the release of their self-titled third LP, and debut record for the Mad Dragon imprint. Produced by Tore Johansson (The Cardigans, Franz Ferdinand, OK Go), the follow up to 2005's De Nova was recorded live to tape in Malmö, Sweden in only 40 days. According to a statement, the Redwalls utilized the vintage medium and speedy methods to obtain a "stripped down" and "raw" sound and ultimately "an album that replaces the layered tracks of their previous releases." Fans can catch the Redwalls on tour throughout August previewing tunes from the band's forthcoming record.

    The Redwalls tracklisting:

    1. "Hangman"
    2. "Modern Diet"
    3. "Summer Romance"
    4. "You Can't Forget Yourself"
    5. "Put Us Down"
    6. "Game of Love"
    7. "Don't You Wanna Come Out"
    8. "Into the Maelstrom"
    9. "Little Sister"
    10. "They are Among Us"
    11. "Each and Every Night"
    12. "In the Time of the Machine"

I know there arent many fans here but I just found out that they are gonna be on David Letterman on Wednesday for those that actually care. Actually everybody should care because they are a great band. Here is a fresh sampling from the newest record.

I'm a big fan of The Redwalls. They're quite talented and pretty good guys. I saw them open for The Polyphonic Spree in Lawrence, KS, and then saw them again in Kansas City a few weeks ago. They sound great live, but I was very disappointed that they only played about an hour in KC, especially since they were supposedly headlining. But I think (and hope) it was because the bar they played in only gave them that much time (they actually had another band playing later that evening). Great show but left me wanting to hear much more.

They usually play an hour and fifteen minutes or an hour and a half, I once saw them play for 2 hours. They didnt follow the setlist at all and ended up playing many other songs.
