i was working tonight (i work in a dept store) and the electronics dept was playing music really loud, and this song came on and i cant get it out of my head now and i KNOW i've heard it before but i dont know what its called and i cant seem to find it on google.
okay, so enough about my woes, can anyone help me out?
it goes something like:
highty highty highty high
hoo-dy hoo-dy hoo-dy ho...
something something something something
highty highty highty ho...
and it sort of sounds like a bunch of people singing that part, or the echo every second line or something, which i think is the chorus...
many thanks.

sounds like that song from the blues brothers soundtrack---sweet home chicago--or something like that
She was a lowdown hoocie coocher
She was the roughest toughest frail
But minnie had a heart as big as a whale
Hidehidehidehi (hidehidehidehi)
Hodehodehodeho (hodehodehodeho)
Hedehedehedehe (hedehedehedehe)
Hidehidehideho (hidehidehideho)
She messed around with a bloke named smokie
She loved him though he was cokey
He took her down to chinatown
And showed her how to kick the gong around
Hidehidehidehi (hidehidehidehi)
Whoah (whoah)
Hedehedehedehe (hedehedehedehe)
A hidehidehideho (hidehidehideho)
She had a dream about the king of sweden
He gave her things that she was needin’
He gave her a home built of gold and steel
A diamond car with platinum wheels
A hidehidehidehidehidehidehi (hidehidehidehidehidehidehi)
Hodehodehodehodehodehodeho (hodehodehodehodehodehodeho)
... (...)
... (...)
He gave her his townhouse and his racing horses
Each meal she ate was a dozen courses
Had a million dollars worth of nickels and dimes
She sat around and counted them all a million times
Hidehidehidehi (hidehidehidehi)
Hodehodehodeho (hodehodehodeho)
Hedehedehedehe (hedehedehedehe)
Hidehidehideho (hidehidehideho)
Poor min, poor min, poor minnie

It's an old Cab Calloway song redone. There are the lyrics and you can have a listen at the amazon link.
