  • I was there. The whole day freaking ripped. I was pleasantly surprised by just about everyone, with the exception of Wilco. I thought they would have been better. Pumpkins were great, loved that Disarm with Josh Groban. Neil closed it out with 'day in the life' by the beatles, after hitting heart of gold, old man, needle and the damage. It was just a great day of music and awesome weather.

wow thanks for that I Brisk I, that was great, the orchestration was beautiful.

it wasn't the first song i'd heard from the pumpkins but it was the song that made me obsessed with them. that very first lyric, "disarm you with a smile", then, "i send this smile to you".... so simplistic, yet it really gets me :o

i for one am happy the pumpkins are back, it may not be the original incarnation, but at least these songs are back out on the road again :)

This is real interesting......not sure if I like it or not, trying to decide. Gotta give it to them for creativity though. That's one of my favorite SP songs so maybe I just really like the original so much that it's tough to hear someone other than Billy singing.

I met Josh Groban a couple months back at a dinner, real nice guy.
