Plus we are forgetting one major thing here, bands like Nickleback and Hinder have been ripping off AIC and other Seattle band's sounds for years, how fucking cool would it be if AIC came back with an absolute monster of an album that could bring decent rock music back to the mainstream?

As much as I would love mainstream rock to come back and be relevant again, I just don't see it happening. Not right now at least. I think the new AIC album could potentially be great but I don't see it changing music. I'd love for them to prove me wrong.

You say that, but this 'type' of music is quite accepted in the mainstream at the moment, an accessible album from them could be pretty popular. I think STP would stand an even greater chance if they record an album, because Scott Weiland has remained in the mainstream conscious through Velvet Revolver, and STP always had killer melodies. I dunno, just some thoughts that have popped into my head lately......

Well I hope you're right. I would love to see AIC move back to the mainstream.
