I thought this would be fun to do while we're all waiting for some serious news.

My song will be called, "Like-As-A-Friend Boat Captain."

What about you?

    "Change has come"

pretty bad, aint it? What are they going to do now without Bush providing them counters...

"My name is Mike and this is my song"

    eh? eh?

    Jeff's new song: "Sufle"

I guess I'm pretty bad at this, hope they come up with great stuff and fresh as ever.
  • Probably a Who or Neil song...
In July 2007 Densmore said that he would not rejoin The Doors unless it was fronted by Eddie Vedder. Densmore says, "I play with Jim. If there's someone of that level, OK. I'm not gonna join them with Ian. That's not to diss Ian, he's a good singer - but he's no Jim Morrison. Eddie Vedder? My God, there's a singer."

I'd still like to hear Of The Earth (or something like that name) from the Avocado sessions...
  • Has the band released any b-sides from the Avacado sessions? If so, are they available anywhere?

    even flow, pt. 2
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam
  • "Complainers Of The Pit"
  • I think the news about Avocado b-sides may have been something of a farce.

"Even Flow Pt. 2" gave me a thought so forgive me for going on a tangent.

I think that with Ed's songwriting and his skilled use of double meanings, he could easily continue a story that has been introduced before. He would probably not want to do something like that but...

    Any thoughts?

    'Puppies are my favorite'

With all seriousness though, I'd like to see Believe You Me making a come back. That song kicks major ass and I can't believe Vedder didn't bring it back already.

Please don't start talking about how he played it during the solo shows. I was there. It doesn't count. I want to hear it with the whole band.

Can you burn me a copy of this album, it sounds great!!! OOOH!! Now you've gotten me all excited for this new album, i mean, JEREMY 2, and a final send-off to our worst president. nice!

Seriously though, referring to a post higher up, it would be cool if the band went back to a previous story in another album, and continued that story. Then again, then we would start getting into chili pepper and metallica territory with telling those stories over many albums...not that there's nothing wrong with that, both bands are great, but I don't see PJ as continuing the story over a whole lot of albums or something.

Wow, just realized I was rambling...

I am not sure Ed would be terribly opposed to it, if there was a story he felt was worth adding to. After all, he had no problem writing the line "There aint gonna be, No middle anymore, Its been said before" in 1/2 Full.
