The Music- Strength in Numbers

Has anyone listened to this album? Is it any good? I really liked their first two albums, but haven't really had the opportunity to hear this one. It seems as if their label isn't releasing it in the states, so I just managed to get my hands on a copy of the CD yesterday and have only listened to the first two tracks so far. I like what I have heard, but was curious if anyone else had listened to it, and what they thought of it.

Thanks,
Matt

  • welcome to the north is an alright album. havent heard the new one though.
she was underwhelmed, if that's a word
  • I have listened through the album once so far, certainly not enough to formulate a lasting opinion, but upon first listen I liked it. I love "The Spike" and the first three tracks stood out above the rest the first time through.

I really like The Music a lot and wish that they would tour the states, although I certainly don't see that happening since their label didn't even distribute Strength in Numbers here. Oh well. Maybe I can at least hold out the hope for a couple of PJ tour dates in Texas in the somewhat near future.

Another question, I ended up getting an import version of this CD off of cdnow, which I believe is essentially just amazon.com. Anyway, the CD case is curved and is shaped differently than any CD I have ever seen. Is this something that is independent of this album, or are all CD cases shaped this way overseas? Stupid question, I know, but I don't ever buy imports and was just curious.
