A couple new bands I recently discovered

Not sure how many of you know of these two but I find myself liking their music. The first I just found out about called Halestorm. Their a group of 4 with the lead singer being a female. Unlike Evanecsomething this girl can wail and they sound just as good live as their stuff on their website. I usually don't care for female bands for some reason (Lacuna Coil needs to axe the lead male though) or another but I actually like this one.

On that live version she really goes crazy at one point or two.

The other is a band I've posted about before but figure I'd throw it out anyways. I ordered their CD since it's not in stores around me(mainly just Seattle and Virginia from what I can tell) and expect to get it in the next few days. IMO their guitar solos are rather nice and overall sounds better than most of the stuff out there.

    If you wanna check out another proper band with a female vocalist, The Gathering are really good!

    This womans voice is amazing, and goes great with the songs (it goes against my principle of female vocalists and rock not mixing, ever!)

    Except Vitalogy just wasn't up to par with the rest. It's not that I didn't like it but the other albums had a better group of songs and less quarky songs.
