saw Zombie and In This Moment in St. Louis about a week ago and Zombie put on a hell of a pyrotechnic and video show! you can tell the man has mastered for concert "art" of a show

In this moment was awesome too because Maria, the lead singer is HOTT!
  • MSG? yeah... i was there... rob zombie always puts on a good live show. i gotta give him that.

i've seen ozzy about nine times (including three times with sabbath) over the past ten years or so (i used to go to ozzfest every year). he's steadily declined over that time. that's basically why sabbath doesn't tour anymore.

but whatever. it's ozzy. i went last night (or tonight, in the likely event that i'm actually just getting home) because it might be his last tour. i couldn't miss that.

and zakk wylde still kicks ass.

  • i was there.....a friend of a friend of a friend had free skybox tickets, so i went as a last minute thing

rob zombie is definitly not my cup of tea, i was thinking about how his approach is the complete opposite of pearl jam, and yet he and eddie are friends through johnny ramone

ozzy was good, not exactly a huge fan, but now i can check him off the list of rock legends i have seen live......i thought his voice was good, maybe real fans know its gotten bad, but i thought it was fine
"I'll tell you what: If all I had was Pearl Jam, and I didn't have another band in the world, I would not be worried. Because in there is the essence of making great music. You don't have to use it all at once, but it's there." - Neil Young

I would LOVE to see Rob Zombie...:D
    What's the stage show like?

Ozzy comes from down the road from me and plays here every now and then. He's getting on a bit now though.

Zakk rocks!! The man is a guitar legend!! :D

Seeing the Mohegan Sun show on Jan 12.
Always enjoy Zombie's show. Ozzy is definitely on the decline, but should still be fun.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Rob Zombie is awesome live, and anyone who doesn't like him needs to take out their tampon and go watch emo bands sing about text messaging and shit like that.
Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?

Not beign a big fan of OZZIE i recognise this fuckin' old man at his 60's can kick some asses, he isn't becoming in some softly/ballader/country guy like had happened with many old legend rockstars ''aerosmith,Chris Cornell, R. Plant latest albums'', long life for Ozzie......
  • I've seen Ozzy about 5 times live... and yes, he's got worse each time.

Last time was at the NIA in Birmingham England, you'd think on home turf he'd pull out all the stops but i'm sorry to say it was pitiful. The audience was half empty and most of those that were standing were there to see BLS. Quite sad really, especially considering how good he was when I first saw him :(

    I blame Sharon F**king Osbourne.

I've never been lucky enough to see Rob/White Zombie and i'm quite bitter about it tbh.
The last tour Rob did here was 1998.... pathetic. Even more so because a press release (so I was told) said the reason that he won't tour here, even though his 'gun charges' have expired, is because we don't have good enough TV for him.

    WTF?!

    Pfft.

I'd love to have seen White Zombie more than anything but unfortunately the closest i'm gonna get is seeing Rob... not that it looks like that will happen anytime soon.

    *crosses arms and huffs*
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
