Flaming Lips... what to expect live

I am going to the Kuyahoga festival at Blossom outside of Cleveland on thursday and i was wondering what to expect from the Flaming Lips, seeing that i have never even heard their stuff although i know who they are...

the lineup for the show looks pretty good... from top to bottom...

The Flaming Lips
Death Cab For Cutie
Sonic Youth
Wolfmother
Hold Steady

with quite a few other smaller bands

should be cool i know quite a bit of sonic youth's stuff and im looking forward to seeing Death Cab for the first time... and Wolfmother and Hold Steady should be pretty sweet... but i reallly know very little about the Flaming Lips

any help would be appreciated... thanks!

    The Lips put on a GREAT "show", at least when I have seen them. Its not just music, it is an event.

    This is true. I actually can't stand the Flaming lips. I think they're awful, but I saw them a couple of years ago at Oxegen and I really enjoyed it.
