fuck man they are my favorite band at this point..... i'm addicted!
i was watching a video where eddie came out on stage and sang juicebox with julian!!!! i almost shit!!!
and jack white came out and played new york city cops!!!
i dunno... i don't know very many people who like the strokes where i am
...And Leave You Be If You Cross Me And Shake Your Hand Like A Man Not A God!!!

    Yeh i know what ya mean. I love the strokes but i hardly have any friends here in NL that like them.
    Who cares if the world is going down the toilet? Eddie Vedder got his mojo back!

    The Strokes aren't bad, but they need to lose that studio effect or whatever it is that sounds like they're playing inside a garbage can. That's getting tired.

    Listened to Room on Fire for the first time in awhile yesterday.. forgot how good it was. Probably my favorite of the 3.

    i love the first album... a classic in my mind.. the other 2 i haven't really gotten into other than a few tracks

    Love their vibe...
    The worst enemies of music? Money and Mathematics. Combined with music, they both do the exact opposite of what they're supposed to do. Money makes music cheap, mathematics makes it stupid and predictable.

    I think most of the second half of First Impressions can be cut (it's not that it's bad it's just too long). Love the first song, love a lot of songs actually. What I like most about it is that they turned away from the sound of the first two records that made them famous. That took balls and a lot of ambition (remind you of a certain band from Seattle circa 1992-94?).

    Their last record have incredible songs (the first three for example) but also have some that are boring...anyway, they kick ass!!! the 2 others are great, specially the first one
