    Very cool, indeed.

Especially the fact that when I first got this CD some months ago I had no idea that it was a Jack White project; I just knew that I liked the sounds I was hearing on the radio in "Level" and "Steady As She Goes"

It's a great thing to be so impressed unexpectedly.

Did W Stripes break up or is this just a pet project? I have only had this for a few weeks, but there is some pretty good stuff there.. a bit Beatles a bit Bowie??

I'm pretty sure that it's a side project.

And I hope he keeps it up because I really like the way Jack White (and the band) sounds with some actual BASS behind him!

side project. the white stripes are still active. they have about 10 songs written for a new album, but with jack on tour, he hasnt had time to write more or get into the studio.
