Lester Bangs: You like Lou Reed?
William Miller: The early stuff. In his new stuff he's trying to be Bowie, but he should just be himself.

But if Lou is doing Bowie, and Bowie is doing Lou, then Lou is still doing Lou....

The only true currency in this bankrupt world... is what you share with someone else when you're uncool.

I still can't picture Tom Cruise playing Hoffman's part---even though Cameron said that Cruise nailed the role

Btw....Cruise couldn't play the role due to a scheduling conflict, so Cameron went with Hoff.

That would have ruined the movie. Don't know what Cameron sees in Cruise.

The original film was better (Pedro is a god)...but I thought Cruise did a pretty good job in his role for Cameron's "Vanilla Sky"

It's true.  I am! But no longer!

“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
