Am I alone to think that Simple Plan sux..and will die in a few years??

I'm from Montreal..and here..there is no "buzz" around Simple Plan!!
Their music is so "teen" ...Plus...they are tryin to look "punk" and "misfit" but they are fashion victims and a Boys Band.......
I just can't stand that freakin BAnd!

I live in Laval, I'm looking for some musicians to make a band. Drum, bass and guitar are needed. More songs with voices can be sent on demand.

    Even when they had their first band (RESET) they sucked... Pop music for the masses. No wonder why some kids get dumber and dumber everyday... What a waste.

    No you are not alone. I'm embarassed there from Canada. These poor kids these days, having this shit thrown at that, and rammed down their throats through "alternative" rock stations, argh. Hopefully people out there, like me, go out of their ways, whenever possible, to provide some alternative bands to help them discover non-corporate crap rock

    the first time i ever heard of them i saw a video of them covering american jesus by bad religion at some festival. it was actually pretty good and i remember thinking i gotta keep these guys in mind. then a little while later they started getting played on the radio and i couldn't believe it was the same band. freakin aweful.

    I've heard the name, but I haven't heard any of their music. At least not that I know of. A Wikipedia search says they have a song called "Save You". That sounds familiar, maybe I've heard that one :P

    If you've heard any early 2000's pop punk; you've heard Simple Plan. grab 3 or 4 power chords, dye your hair black, whine about how much it sucks to be a teen (even though you're in your twenties), add just enough punk style to your image without scaring off 15 year old girls, then you too can be a member of Simple Plan.
