the end
when the music's over
Neil Young has plenty of great lengthy, somewhat 'epic' songs... my favorites that come to mind are Down by the River (one of my all time favs) and Natural Beauty.
Any Isis song that goes over 9 minutes is usually pretty awesome.
Zeppelin's In My Time of Dying is pretty epic too. Those are all I can think of right now.
Cowgirl in the Sand - Neil Young (as well as Down By the River, as already said)
Sins of my Father - Tom Waits
Oh - and rip on me all you want: Dry County by Bon Jovi is a kick ass song.
"In the Court of the Crimson King"~King Crimson
"Close to the Edge"~Yes
"Supper's Ready"~Genesis (another 20+ minute masterpiece)
"The Battle of Epping Forest"~Genesis
"The Cinema Show"~Genesis
"Siberian Khatru"~Yes
"Starship Trooper"~Yes
"Cowgirl in the Sand"~Neil Young
"Like a Hurricane"~ Neil Young

David Bowie- Moonage Daydream From Ziggy Stardust The Motion Picture
Both Genius...
Nothing to be ashamed of. Bon Jovi has about three really good songs, and that's one of them.

Is Cortez the Killer over 9 min? That would be my pick...
"Do you feel like we do" Peter Frampton
"Bela Lugosi's dead"- Bauhaus
Not sure if "stairway to heaven" is over 9 ninutes, but it's bad ass anyway.
