Need some good break up songs (not sad, more like F you type songs)

So just found out my girlfriend of 4 years (who's been living w/ me for 3) has been cheating on me and is moving out. I'm not one wants to wallow in sad break up songs, but rather like songs that are more positive.

One that I was listening to that I like was John Mayer's "I'm going to find another you". Great lyrics.

Any other good suggestions?

Edit: Sorry, probably should have put this in Other Music

4 years is a long time. Ouch.

I guess, if I were in your shoes I would take solace in the fact that
in a couple of years, after the pain has subsided and things are back
in perspective, you'll probably have a chance to bang her again just for fun.

There's got to be a song out there about that.

I like it, I guess I didn't mean so much "positive" as just not a sad song but more of F it, type of thing.

    Good suggestions

Oh my goodness! I am so sorry. That's terrible! What's with people lately, this is at least the third thread I've seen with this having happened to someone.

I find the entire Vs album to be cathartic (ie: i'd rather be with an ANIMAL)

and also Screaming Infidelities by Dashboard Confessional

For the longest time I thought animal was about Ed getting love letters from gay men.
Turns out I was way off!

I can't remember where I read it but I think it's about a gang rape.

    I used to Love Her

    I used to love her
But I had to kill her
I used to love her, Mm, yeah
But I had to kill her
I had to put her six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

I used to love her, Oo, yeah
But I had to kill her
I used to love her, Oo, yeah
But I had to kill her
    I knew I'd miss her
So I had to keep her
She's buried right in my backyard
Oh yeah, Oo yeah, whoa, oh yeah

    I used to love her
But I had to kill her
I used to love her, Mm, yeah
But I had to kill her
She bitched so much, She drove me nuts
And now I'm happier this way, yeah
    Whoa, oh yeah

    I used to love her
But I had to kill her
I used to love her, Mm, yeah
But I had to kill her
I had to put her, Oo, six feet under
And I can still hear her complain

There was a cover band we used to see and they sang it all the time

I guess when you've been drinking all night in a bar it sounds good !

    I can see that.

But, to me, when it comes to romance, love, sex, and a beautiful woman... and an unfortunate time to let it all go, I don't want to get hissy-fitted about it. If I spent four good years with someone, I would be grateful for those four years. I'm not saying the cheating wouldn't hurt, but I suspect I might already have had a straying eye as well. When you're that close to someone you notice those subtle changes.

:o I never noticed that about animal actually... dunno what I thought it was about but that makes perfect sense and it may make it more uncomfortable to rock out to now :o :(

i dunno.. its just a song.. some of the worlds happiest songs have some huge undercurrent of death, revenge, brussel sprouts and other nasty shit..

Last Kiss for instance... Shiny Happy People by REM is about an guy who killed 3 nuns with a simple garden trowel cos he believed that penguins had been sent to inseminate him with Burt Reynolds sperm... i might have made that up though
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

yeh, you have a point... but reading the lyrics makes me uncomfortable now :o probably just me and I'm sure I'll get over it... but it's strange how a song can completely change once you pick up a different meaning.
