Band of Horses

Anyone else like these guys? Just got into this band, have been listening to their first CD for a few weeks now(which now has a song in a car commercial).
Anyway, really good stuff....just got the newer CD, and the song "No One's Gonna Love You" is really good.

Very disapointed funeral is in a fucking ford comercial but i won't start on that rant i'll keep it positive.
The band is really cool. They remind me of a mix of my morning jacket and the shins.
Glad others are digging these guys. Check them out live it is a pretty good show.

Have you seen them live yet? I've seen them twice and I'm telling you, do not pass up a chance at seeing them. When Ben Bridwell sings a song live, he hits all the notes exactly as he does on the albums and it's phenomenal.
by the way, I can't stop play the trio of General Specific/Lamb on the Lam/Islands on the Coast lately. Wish Lamb would have been fleshed out though. Islands on the Coast is easily the best song i've heard in awhile. I just can't find anything wrong with it and I can't stop playing it.
Cease to Begin is the best album of 2007 imo. I can't get enough of their sound.
I finally went ahead and bought Cease to Begin after past Christmas (it was a good price!) and I have to say I'm enjoying it. It's a little too far to the plain old alternative rock side for me on most songs, but they're undeniably catchy. I particularly like "The General Specific" and "Marry Song."
