Bold As Love - Instrumental version on Hendrix Box Set

Disc 2 number 7. Holy crap this is 7 minutes of pure bliss. I've always loved the song but this demo version is a masterpiece. It reminds me of SRV's take on "Little Wing". I can't listen to it enough....he should have just released this version.

    I agree that track is awesome, although I love the lyrics on the original, so I'm glad both versions are out there.

    What I like even better is the instrumental version of Little Wing on that same disc. The guitar solo on that is amazing. It just erupts out of the speakers.

    That is a great boxed set. So many good rare tracks.
