Beck - Modern Guilt - Background Noise

Anyone else hear the background noise on Beck's Modern Guilt......I've always thought it was my Ipod in the car...but then I put on the disc tonight at home and its pretty annoying.....it just sounds like static in the background....maybe i'm crazy.
