I met Edgar Winter!!!

Got into a car accident last week in Orillia. I was up there with my fiance to see Ringo Starr and his All Starr band play. The show was pretty good, but it was the following morning that the accident happened. Anyway, we ended up stranded in the casino waiting for a bus home. Anyway, as we were sitting there all pissed that we had no car, we looked up to see Edgar Winter walking past into the theatre!!!! Stopped him and talked for a little bit. I told him 'Frankenstein' is one of the most rockin' songs ever, to which he laughed. Incredibly nice guy, I think he's blind though, as he was trying to sign our autograph with the pen upside down. If he IS blind, it makes his performance the night before even more cool, as he literally played 5 instruments during Frankenstein, including a sweet drum battle with Sheila E. We also met Richard Marx, Billy Squier, Rod Argent (of The Zombies), and Hamish Stuart (of Average White Band). Anyways, just thought I'd share, goes to show that a day may start out shitty, but its the cool little moments you remember, not the frustrating problems.
