Well, I was looking around my local Sunrise the other day, and was very surprised to see Silverchairs new album on the new release wall, as I had heard it wasn't going to be released until the summer. Turns out it was an import, I picked it up, and I'm pretty impressed with it. The first listen through, I thought it was pretty tame and not too hooky, but I soldiered through a second listen and it began to grow on me, now after a few more, I really like it!!! I suggest picking it up if you find it, it's worth it!!

It's a great album. One of my favorites for 2007 easily. "If You Keep Losing Sleep", "Waiting All Day", and "All Across the World" are my favorites.

It's pretty close to topping Diorama for my favorite Chair album.

I've been a big fan of silverchair since I heard Freak Show back in 1997, then loved Frogstomp.... I found this one on download and I haven't listened to it yet. I never could get attached to Diorama and Neon Ballroom was the last Schair album to really "hit" me. I'd love to see them live again though.

I love the new album. It is very good. It seems to be selling well too. THis is a good thing since they made this album without a record lable and paid for it themselves. THey used money from a few concerts they did last year to pay for it. They are gonna make a lot of money off of this thing.
