I listen to the radio about 5 hours a week through the car and through helping my brother's business, and I heard this song through the radio, and I got completely hooked to it.

They are Canadian, well the one guy behind this band, apparently looking through wikipedia, he writes all the music and gets guest singers to sing on the majority of the songs he records. So, listening to a Canadian radio station has introduced me to this song.

I love this song, it's so catchy, from the slow beginning to the build-up, to the Coldplay-esque peak, I don't know, I am just completely enamoured with this song from the radio, so I have to find who it was. I downloaded the album, so I'll be burning it and listenign to the rest of their songs. It's called Always

yeah, I saw that in the wiki article, wow, maybe another reason why I heard this song played alot on the River. Fuck that station is great, what a breath of fresh air. No shit eh, well if he plays often at the Loop, I'll have to come on down. I saw through the youtube that I recognized The Grace, but I thought it was one of the songs from that Alexisonfire guitarist, but he just sings, it was ok, not as good as Always

    Cheers

as if I am sitting here listening to the radio, finishing an assignment, and hear a song on the radio and wonder what it is, thinking I have heard it before, and it's another Neverending White Lights song, a song with the lead singer of 311 singing, plus the reason I recognized it somewhat was that it was a New Order cover

    Blimey, crazy shit

NWL is one of my favorite bands. Discovered Daniel Victor by fluke in 2005 and with his debut album, Act 1 - Goodbye Friends of the Heavenly Bodies, my life felt like it had changed. I had been a HUGE Pearl Jam and Nirvana fan and was always searching for some new sounds. I found them in bands like Moneen, Dashboard Confessional, Coheed & Cambria and a few others but when my ears touched Neverending White Lights, well.... that was it. My heart had broken and healed into a new heart in a matter of minutes. His music and the way he approached his 3 albums has been a crazy inspiration. The sounds in songs like "Bleeds to an End", "Our Final Hymn", "Warding Off the Spirits", "Ending of a Story", "Return Our Lives", "I Hope Your Heart Runs Empty",... I will soon be finding myself listing every song ... EVERY SONG! over 3 albums! MELT MY BRAIN PLEASE! Lucky bastards in Ontario that get to see him play often. Saw him in Saskatoon, met him & thanked him (I was one of the first members on his start-up website back in '05-'06 and was able to chat back and forth with him, have a couple signed albums of his and keep in touch on facebook - ok, fuck you. I'm a sick fan. I know this is obsessive, but I'm cool with it. I don't bombard him hahahaha. I just listen to his music as often as I do to Pearl Jam, Nirvana and all my other 90's stuff. end bracket) Thanks for the rant.
