Liam Finn in Vancouver - WOW!

Saw this great show at the Biltmore Cabaret, which is a nice lounge place, low ceilings, low stage. Hubby and I were leaning on the equipment trunks at the front of the stage, so there was about three feet between us and Liam...And I caught a drumstick!!

Anyway, he was just fantastic! If you get a chance to see him, please do!

Oh yeah, some girl actually flashed her boobs at him. He said it was the first time that's ever happened to him. EJ pretended to be annoyed.

    I was actually going to post about this, he seemed thoroughly thrilled about the crowd, people were cheering loud and the place was packed.

    Good Showing Vancouver.

    we saw him friday at the high dive in seattle. place was PACKED. great show!

    too bad half the fuckin' people there were just hanging out and talking the whole time...i was about 10 feet away from the stage and had to listen to some idiot try and pick up this girl by telling her all about his 5 awesome tats.....ughh....show was great though.

    Had that in vancouver, too...although I was practically ON the stage, some twit kept pulling my hair..and then some guy was showing off to his friend because his friend had never been to a concert before. "Oh that guy looks like a sound guy...definitely a sound guy...and see him over there, yeah he's the lead roadie...did I tell you about that apple computer I just bought..." SHUT UP!!!!

    But Liam was just so fantastic...but what am I going to do with one drumstick?

    very typical for seattle crowds unfortunately. i was on the left side and had to endure everyone walking back and forth in front of me to go to the restroom. i finally stood up on a booth seat and had a fantastic view.

    i had never heard him before and was very impressed. very talented indeed.

    We are going on Saturday at Lee's palace here in Toronto.
    Great place to see a show. Looking forward to seeing this talented
    madman from a lot closer than the nosebleed seat I had at Massey Hall.

    saw him last tuesday in SF, place was soooo tiny....we were right up beside the stage on the side, was fantastic! be sure to see him if he rolls through your town, he's so amazingly talented.

    the drunk whores in front of us were kind of annoying though... who seemed to be the same drunk whores in front of vedderfan haha

    I was at the Biltmore too! Actually, the girl that flashed her boobs was with my friend...

    I was about 3 people back from the front and I could hear the crowd chatting almost as loud as Liam and EJ playing. I think it might just be the accoustics in that place, with the super low ceilings, because it didn't seem like it was a much ruder crowd than any other show, just nowhere for the voices to go but bounce right off the ceiling and back down to the crowd.

    Anyway, he put on a great show! I had a good time.
