  • loved them until 10,000 Days....either their music outgrew me, or i outgrew their music....either way, still a staple of rock....and a killer band!

Word. 10,000 Days was horrible. Lateralus was pretty good. But Undertown and Aenima are classic. Wish they would make something decent again, but I'm afraid they've jumped the shark.

I totally agree here. 10,000 Days was a solid album but it just seemed like an album of rehashed material from the previous two albums. Still amazingly talented group of musicians. Granted my tastes have evolved quite a bit since the last couple albums so that may play a small role in my opinion.

loved Opiate, Undertow and Aenima. Laturalus was okay. 10,000 Days i was unintrested in.
  • Abso-fucking-lutely LOVE Tool.. From Opiate/Undertow up thru 10,000 Days, love it all.. Sure there's some filler shit in there (as there is in most of their CD's), but I still dig 'em either way..

Still one of the few of my favorite bands that I have yet to see live.. Got to see APC in Long Beach back in '04, but missed out on Tool twice in '06 up here in Seattle and the Gorge... One day I WILL see them live..

I love Jambi, The Pot, Vicarious from 10000 Days. So count me in as a fan that loves all Tool from Opiate through 10000 Days.

Though I always find a few songs from every Tool album a little different...
  • yup, tool is amazing

  • Tool are cool. A lot of their stuff sounds a bit too similar for my liking but it's still pretty groovy.
