I post the link not to be one of those wise guys around here who berate people for not searching first, but only to further the conversation a bit. I bought their new one not too long ago and I like it a lot....really like the Sabbath-y sound mixed with the trancey stuff, which usually isn't my favorite but they make it work for me.

I've haven't heard their first album....how does it stack up?
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

The first is mustard also! I don't know how you categorise this band, they're pretty unique sounding, like someone crossed the Dandy Warhols with Black Sabbath and the Lemonheads...they even get a bit 'prog' at times.

  • It really is a difficult band to put a tag on.....maybe leaning a little in the direction of some of the stuff Faith No More did, but not exactly I don't believe. Really interesting music, 'Wucan' is one of coolest songs I've heard in a while. I bought the album on a whim just because I had read positive things, which I hate to do, but it worked out this time....I love it when that happens.

I saw them on Conan the same day I bought the album. I'm guessing they will put on an enjoyable show. Watching them on Conan, I couldn't help but think of Jefferson Airplane with Jim Morrison (in the totally drunk, bloated fuzzy-bearded days) sitting in

i love black mountain. alittle while ago, rolling stone had something about them. i usually don't care what they are saying but i decided to get in the future. i was hooked right away. i also picked up the self-titled album. both are awesome. i can't stop listening to these albums.
