Give these guys a listen: State Radio

State Radio is a really awesome group..fairly heavy sound with some slight reggae influences. They just released a new album called Year Of The Crow...an excellent effort. They're based out of Mass., and they're one of my favorite bands alongside PJ. ccbsayit.com is their fansite, and their myspace has free downloads of their songs. They also have a very strong political stance similar to that of PJ and Ed Vedder. Anyway, I'm rambling a bit, but seriously check State Radio out if you want to hear some good, new music!

    Discovered them at southside this year (thanks PJ :p) and I have really fallen for them!
    even BOUGHT their 3 albums already ;)

    also downloaded some Dispatch albums (same singer) to check them out :)

    Listened to one song on their myspace, and it sounds awesome! Will definitely investigate further.

    Get their second track off the album, "Unfortunates" for free right up there.
    It's about the WM3. (The similarities do not end there.)

    Also, if you want to hear them live...check out the ones with the purple arrows...
