For the U2 fans (Bono's Autograph)

*this is something I want to share with the U2 fans here if you hate U2 or Bono, this post won't interest you*
I've been a big U2 fan for a long time now, and one of my best friends whom I have known since Kindergarten works in D.C. The other week he found out that he would be in a meeting with Bono! Knowing that he was coming (and that he also would be in the meeting) Kevin immediately thought of me and my Fanaticism. He purchased "U2 by U2", in the hopes that Bono might take a second to sign it for me.
Not only did he sign it, but he also saw it fit to draw a little picture in the inside cover and even draw on some "shades" over his picture on the cover. When I received it in the mail I had no idea that Kevin had even met Bono, so you can imagine my surprise! Let's just say you'd be hard pressed to knock the smile off my face!

I also have had the luck of meeting Ed in 1995 at SDSU and was able to get his autograph. Im happy to share a photo of that autograph if anyone is interested. That experience was more special since I met him first hand, but unfortunately I don't have pics of the actual meeting. However the experience is engraved in my brain so I'll never forget it.

I had a similar experience with an acquaintance of mine who ran an antique shop that Eddie shopped at a lot in Seattle. One day, this antique shop owner presented me with a 1998 Christmas single signed by Eddie. (he knew I was a big PJ fan). Needless to say, I was floored and couldn't thank him enough. I still shop at his store whenever I go back to Seattle.
