That guy is not the ugliest lead singer ever. That honor goes to Joey Romone. God love him. He was great! But soooo NOT attractive.

    Rest in Peace Joey!! :)

the answer is freddie mercury, and its a shame that people like him, with that great of a voice and that much talent could never make it in the industry today because of their looks.
  • that song is catchy because i always see it on that 80's songs collection CD on TV

The guy from Nickelback isn't too bad but his hair makes him ugly. The guy from the Darkness is also unattractive IMHO. I am not shallow by any means but they sure aren't my type.

I remember back in the 80's watching MTV one day and the video Balls to the Wall came on by this band called Accept. I just remember once the vocalist showed up on camera when the singing started I thought it was a prank -- funny looking little dwarf-like guy in camo garb...bug eyed and looking about twenty years older than anybody else in the band. Funny singing voice too. Good riff to the song but my vote for the ugliest/funniest looking singer of all-time.

I'd have to agree about the singer from Nickelback, he's just hideous and he has no talent to make up for it.

he didn't say that. he said that they wouldn't make it today..

which I disagree with, Freddie Mercury most certainly was not ugly!!

he wasn't good looking and handsome in the way lead singers are "supposed" to be, especially today, but dang, he was hot! :D

In the early nineties, I would have agreed with you. Don't know what he looks like now....but on some of the tapes I have of old stuff, he looks good.
