This is one of my favorite songs by them. The best version is from the "naked" let it be album. Anyways, I found this short clip on youtube:

Here's the full version, from the Let It Be movie:

And I just found this on youtube, as well. It's the naked version. Cool little video.

This song reminds me of my brother and I. We're both going to Ontario in a couple of weeks after not seeing each other in almost 3 years!!! And Ontario is where we were born and have most of our family.

Anyone else love this song??
Another habit says it's in love with you
Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend
I'm so happy with my righteous self

  • I grew up with the Rolling Stones, but Two of Us, especially the Naked version, is one of my favorite songs of theirs... it's sooo good.

My kids, ages 5 1/2 and 3, love this song, as well as some other Beatles stuff. Great harmonies and easy to sing along to. Great to have these songs that aren't overly commercialized in the beatles world.
I love to turn you on

My roomie and I were jamming this the other nite on the acoustics. Afterwards, a friend who was visiting said 'what song is that?'. My roomie replied, 'where were you born, out of your mother's ass?'. He promptly said 'Well, pretty close', which was hilarious. Anyway, it just amazed us that he didn't know anything about this song or Let It Be, when just about every time I ride in his car he has Revolver blasting. That said, I think I prefer the 'naked' version of Let It Be to the original release.

I got Let It Be (the original release) at Christmas Break, and obviously Two Of Us was the first song i heard, and since then it's probably been my favourite Beatles song. Its just so...hopeful but melancholic, and as i travel between the Hampshire and Edinburgh reasonably often, i always make sure its on my MP3 as i go home. Its a great night driving track, too. And wonderful to sing along to...despite drowning out Lennon and McCartney!!
