Did a search, found nothing, so if this has been posted before, I don't give a fuck.
I'm sure most of you have either heard of this or done this before.
Several years ago a rumor began to circulate about a strange connection between Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon (1973) and the MGM classic film The Wizard of Oz (1939).Synchronize the film and the album, a number of coincidental events occur.
"The Great Gig in the Sky" begins as the tornado approaches Dorothy's farm, builds as the storm worsens, and slows when Dorothy is knocked unconscious; "Brain Damage" plays as the Scarecrow sings "If I Only Had a Brain"; and the album concludes with the sound of a heartbeat as Dorothy puts her hand on the Tin Woodsman's chest.
Someone put it together for us. Enjoy.

And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key
Start 2001 at the title screen "Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite" and start Echoes at the same time.
Both last for approx. 23 minutes. Enjoy!
Still a pretty cool thing to do...attach one artform to another of a completely different context. The juxtaposition creates a new experience than neither artist intended...which can be a good or bad thing

There was a web page that people did a lot of work with..linking up bands as random as the Police and Nine Inch Nails to movies and getting them to "sync up".

Also, in the new Guitar World, Adam Jones said a girl wrote him a letter saying Lateralus syncs up with Passion of the Christ. I havent checked that out, but i am kinda curious.
And yes, it works.
