Does anyone on here like them? I really dig them and nobody seems to share my excitement.
Well, do you need a lot of what you've got to survive?

    Youth and Young Manhood is a great album. I like Aha Shake Heartbreak but i was slightly disappointed with it.

    My fave Leon songs:
    1. Red Morning Light
    2. California Waiting
    3. Slow Night, So Long
    4. Spiral Staircase
    5. King of the Rodeo

    Absolutely love them and have done since i heard Molly's Chambers (which turned out too be one of their weaker songs) Love Aha Shake Heart Break especially the opening 3 tracks.

    CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM AT THE BIG DAY OUT IN ONE WEEK!

    Ok, the Kings of Leon are awesome. and one of the few bands out there who makes their live stuff sound just as good or better than the stuff on the album. Oh, and don't slam Molly's Chambers, the song kicks ass.

    Kings of Leon are great. Lots of energy, a busy bass, and unique vocalist. I've seen them twice, one time being at a record store.

    I think they're the most original outfit out there right now. And one of the very few bands that actually showed progress from their debut album to their sophomore effort. Not that the first album is not as good, but the second album is more musically accomplished in a way. I bought the new Strokes album a few days ago, and anyone who thinks about getting it should go with the Kinmgs Of Leon instead, they're more original, creative and diverse if you ask me. And calling the KOL "Southern Strokes" is an insult. Thanks for letting me vent ;)

    I think the main reason they call them the "southern strokes" is 'cause when they first came onto the scene they toured with the strokes. I saw it, the show kicked ass, but thats beside the point,lol. But I feel that that is how tey are associated. Besides, they're pretty good friends with em.

    California Waiting is my favorite by them i think...

    i love the singer's voice too, which, if you hate anything remotely different, would be the only fault they have... (but i consider it a plus :) )

    So i'm watching Honey and the Beaze ( aka Stuck on you) and there are a couple of Kings of Leon songs one of them being California Waiting....

    My KOL song og the hour is Genius or Taper Jean Girl . They have very few if any "average" songs .... Jefff Ament is a big fan .. or so I have heard

    Ed came out at a KOL show and sang Slow Night, So Long with them several months back.

    I'd say there is a realllllllllllllly great chance of them opening for Pearl Jam on the next tour.

    Yeah, I knew that, but it's always portrayed as if they're just another Strokes-spin-off which is the farthest thing from the truth. But anyway the bands are good friends and I'll just keep trying to let the new Strokes-album grow on me. But damn, I'd much rather listen to KOL ;)

    Fuckin' A. I am all about these guys. They are a great live band, I saw them when the Secret Machines opened, and wow, what a show. Whoever said Caleb sounds retarded, well, your fucking retarded. His voice is amazing, and he has many ways of singing.
